At their August 19th special planning session, the BOE discussed the eight options that were the subject of the public hearing on August 12, 2009 and reduced the number of options under consideration from eight to two. The two options now under consideration are modified versions of options 2B and 2C. Option 2B was modified to transfer all of the Twin Ridge ES students from New Market MS to Windsor Knolls MS. Option 2C was also modified so that all of the students graduating from Twin Ridge ES would attend Windsor Knolls MS. In both cases, those Twin Ridge students attending Windsor Knolls MS would then go on to Linganore HS. In addition, Option 2C was modified to transfer those students who live in the Spring Ridge PUD and attend Oakdale ES from Thomas Johnson MS to Oakdale MS.
